Welcome to the Fortnite Battle Royale: Nairobi Clash 2026, Kenya's most anticipated Fortnite community tournament! Organized by KenyaGamers, this event brings together the best solo players from across the country to compete for glory and a share of KES 100,000 in prizes. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a rising star, this is your chance to prove your skills on the battlefield.
The tournament kicks off with online qualifiers starting August 29, 2026, where players will battle it out in a series of matches to secure one of the coveted spots in the LAN finals held in Nairobi on September 12, 2026. The LAN finals will be a thrilling live event with a cheering crowd, professional casting, and intense competition.
Format & Rules
Tournament Structure
- Phase 1: Online Qualifiers (August 29 - September 5) - Open to all Kenyan players. Play 10 matches over the week; your best 6 matches count.
- Phase 2: LAN Finals (September 12) - Top 20 players from qualifiers advance to the live finals in Nairobi. 6 matches, cumulative points decide the champion.
Scoring System
- Victory Royale: 10 points
- Elimination: 1 point each
- Placement points: 2nd-5th: 5 pts, 6th-10th: 3 pts, 11th-15th: 2 pts, 16th-20th: 1 pt
Rules
- Solo mode only on NA-East servers to ensure fair ping for all.
- All players must be Kenyan residents and provide a valid ID for verification.
- No teaming, cheating, or use of unauthorized software. Violations lead to immediate disqualification.
- Players must join the official KenyaGamers Discord for communication and match coordination.
- Matches will be played in Battle Royale mode, zero build or build? We'll use Zero Build for a fast-paced competition.
Prize Pool
The total prize pool is KES 100,000, distributed as follows:

How to Register via WhatsApp
To secure your spot, follow these simple steps:
- Save the tournament hotline: +254 700 123 456 on WhatsApp.
- Send a message with your Full Name, Epic Games Username, and Location (City/County).
- Pay the KES 500 entry fee via M-Pesa to the provided till number.
- Send the confirmation M-Pesa message to the same WhatsApp number.
- You'll receive a confirmation with your player ID and Discord invite link.
Registration closes on August 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM EAT. Spots are limited to 100 players for qualifiers, so register early!

FAQ
Do I need a high-end PC to compete?
No, Fortnite runs on a wide range of devices. As long as you can maintain a stable connection and meet the minimum requirements, you're good to go.
Can I play from anywhere in Kenya?
Yes, the qualifiers are fully online. Only the finals require physical presence in Nairobi. If you qualify but cannot attend, you may forfeit your spot to the next player.
What if I experience connection issues during a match?
We understand that internet can be unpredictable. If you disconnect, you'll receive zero points for that match. However, we allow each player one 'free' disconnect per qualifier, where the match won't count towards your best 6. No such grace during finals.
